1. Pet Parade

The Los Altos Kiwanis Pet Parade is a celebration that attracts thousands of people every year, along with their pets, wagons, bicycles, parents and neighbors. Hundreds of kids and their dogs, cats, birds, chickens – and even worms – participate, as well as youth groups, marching bands and dignitaries in vintage cars. 

2. Silicon Valley Irish Festival
10:00 am - 6:00 pm, May 17-18

It is a gathering and celebration of culture. This two-day event will feature Irish performers both traditional and modern, Irish dancers, Irish arts & crafts, Irish food vendors and a Kids’ Zone.

3. Crafts from Many Cultures

A fun-filled exploration of history featuring arts,  crafts, experiments and hands-on demonstrations at the San Mateo County History Museum 

4. South Bay Bird Fest

Join us for a day of exploration as we celebrate our feathered friends with guided walks, games, crafts, face painting, and various other hands-on activities.

5. Introductory Geocaching Family Hike

This fun, interactive outing is great for families and children who can hike for 2-to 3-miles. Join docents and an REI Outdoor School instructor to search for geocaches (hidden treasures), using REI-supplied GPS units (or bring a GPS unit). 1. Friends and Family Day: Pacific Rim Exploration

Celebrate Asian American Heritage Month at History Park and join us for an exciting and educational festival all about the countries the border the Ring of Fire. Activities will include carp kite-making and junior archaeology, and performances.

2. Family Dance Party

3. Studio Art-Making
