his annual festival showcases a reimagined Renaissance, complete with a royal court, Master Shakespeare, storytellers, fairies, a hard-hitting armored joust, and a town full of colorful characters. This lost era contains a vast labyrinth of nooks and crannies, from merchants proffering ye olde turkey legs to shops stocked with leather wears and carved tankards. Live shows take place on three stages and feature the Barleycorn Dancers, the Bard's Cloak of Tales, as well as Stark Ravens.

he Festival’s wildly popular Free Family Concert introduces kids to the wonderful world of orchestral music. It begins with a Tour of the Orchestra where kids can make an up-close and personal connection to the different instruments and players. This year we’ll feature a world premiere Festival Commission composed and narrated by Jonathan Sheffer. The Conference of the Birds was inspired by a Persian folk tale about a flock of birds on a spiritual journey, and explores the orchestra’s ability to imitate the chirps, coos, and calls of our feathered friends.
